CEO Perspectives: Views From the Top on AI Adoption

When it comes to understanding the transformative benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) for governments and companies of every size, few share the same vantage point as BSA’s member company CEOs.

As the leaders of enterprise software companies that serve businesses of all sizes and across every industry, these executives offer direct insight into how AI is being applied in real-world settings—making businesses and economies more competitive and creating new opportunities for growth.

We’re excited to share those insights through our CEO Perspectives series, a new BSA initiative featuring original thought leadership from the CEOs of our member companies. In this series, they’ll share insights on AI adoption—its strategic importance, its economic and societal impact, and why accelerating adoption is imperative for growth and innovation.

The timing couldn’t be more critical. In boardrooms and world capitals alike, AI adoption is a central focus. For BSA members, it’s not just a policy issue—it’s a business priority. Governments are asking how to ensure competitiveness in the AI era, and enterprise software leaders have a unique lens on how to do that responsibly and effectively.

At BSA, we’ve sought to meet this moment with forward-looking AI adoption policies. In July, we launched our US AI Adoption Agenda, and global frameworks are on the way in the weeks ahead. Our goal: help governments unlock AI’s benefits while ensuring trust, transparency, and accountability.

We’re grateful to the CEOs from Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Cisco, Cohesity, Docusign, PagerDuty, and Siemens for lending their voices to this effort. The series begins with DocuSign CEO Allan Thygesen, and we’ll continue rolling out perspectives from these leaders in the coming weeks.

Follow BSA on LinkedIn and subscribe to BSA News to stay up to date. We’re excited to share these important insights with you—and to spotlight the business leaders helping shape a thoughtful path forward on AI.
